Umkirch, May 24, 2007 For the first time Gerriets showcases its new Kabuki drop system G2 at SHOWTECH 2007 in Berlin, Germany. G2 is Gerriets answer to the growing market demand for a system that can drop much heavier loads than previous systems at the push of a button. The new system must also work reliably and safely no matter if electromagnetically or pneumatically controlled. Gerriets newly developed, electronically controlled KABUKI G2 system allows load ratings up to 110 pounds (50 kg) per release unit. This unique performance expands the application field for Kabuki systems tremendously. If power fails, the automatic release stays locked to prevent the load from falling. This feature and additional downlocks prevent unintended releases. The new Kabuki system allows the mounting of textiles and screen surfaces easily without the need of eyelets. With the added benefit of higher performance, the G2 Kabuki system pricing remains competitive.
