Umkirch, February 19, 2008 Gerriets expands its textile/fabrics collection: This spring Gerriets provides five new fabrics: Number one is the new drapery material EVENTMOLTON R44, 118” wide and 0.8 oz/.ft2 (300 cm wide and 250 g/m²). This material is an economic alternative to DUVETYN R55. Gerriets also launches a new coated SOUNDMOLTON with excellent sound reflection properties. Number three is the newly developed MACAU string curtain with integrated LUREX threads. Number four is the popular CAMOUFLAGE fabric available in the color white at 86” (220 cm) wide. Last but not least, Gerriets offers a new PU (Polyurethane) coated stretch textile, 86”(220 cm) wide. All textiles and fabrics are flame resistant (according to the German standard B1 DIN 4102) and in process of being tested to NFPA 701. The new products extend Gerriets choice of fabrics. More than 780 different fabric samples are currently available: Muslins, technical curtains, drapery materials and special effect materials. Samples are available on request.
