Gerriets has expanded its line of acoustic materials with the new, innovative sound absorption textile “Absorber CS”. Gerriets developed the new textile in cooperation with musicians, theater consultants, and an acoustic testing institute.
ABSORBER CS is made from 100 % Trevira CS and is inherently flame retardant according to DIN 4102 B1 and is available in standard color black as well as custom colors in quantities of 200 m (220 yd) or more.
ABSORBER CS is certified to sound absorption class C, which identifies it as “highly absorbent”. The new textile is the perfect solution for a wide range of applications. With its minor reverberation time ABSORBER CS curtains can be used in concert halls, theaters, opera houses, conference rooms or sound studios.
