Introducing G-GAFF Gaffer’s Tape
No More Sticky Situations

Ewing, July 1st 2016

EWING, NJ, July 1, 2016--(Gerriets International) – Gerriets International is proud to introduce G-GAFF Gaffer’s Tape. Gaffer’s tape has been a staple in the entertainment field for years, used for many purposes such as holding down cables, securing dance floor, temporary labelling and even quick on-the-spot repairs to sets and props. Gaffer’s tape is intended to leave a clean surface behind, but many brands leave surfaces sticky after a long term application. Gerriets worked with German adhesive experts to develop a new line of gaff tape, G-GAFF, that can be trusted to pull off clean. G-GAFF has been rigorously tested on over 35 materials including vinyl flooring, aluminum, steel, wood, fabric and carpeting to ensure an absence of adhesive residue. Each roll is packaged and sealed in plastic to increase shelf life and to guarantee the adhesive is fresh when it’s opened.
Gerriets also had the G-GAFF tested in the field at the Glimmerglass Festival in Cooperstown, NY. Matt Kirby-Smith, the Stage Operations Manager at Glimmerglass, said that G-GAFF is a “Great product, has good working strength, tears cleanly, and a smooth feel; Excellent adherence to almost any material. No residue on carpet, marley, wood, foam, glass, plexi, or metal.”
Ross Rundell, Technical Director at the festival added that, “An added benefit of the G-GAFF is its soft texture, which is much easier on the hands when taping large sections opposed the course feel of typical gaff tape.” With Gerriets behind it, you can trust that G-GAFF will rip off clean, every time. G-GAFF: no more sticky situations.

G-GAFF is currently available in 2 inch wide by 55-yard rolls, in three colors: black, white, and grey. Price discounts are available for orders by the case.
