Tracing the obvious and the hidden meaning in James Tissot's works was part of the exhibition concept for the large retrospective at the Musée d'Orsay Paris. In the exhibition space, unostentatious CS VOILE curtains by Gerriets surround expressive exhibits full of clear and bright colours. Alongside with the lighting concept, this contrast sets a focus on selected works, the ambiguity of which may become apparent to the viewer upon closer observation.

• The redesign of the "Maracana" restaurant in the Glockenspitze adventure and sports hotel; using printed sound and partition curtains as well as a wall and door covering with prints from the "Estádio do Maracanã" stadium in Brazil, a well-known venue from the Olympic Games and two World Soccer Championships.
• Production and installation of a string curtain using the MACAU CLASSIC effect fabric to highlight the VIP area of the restaurant.
• Further backdrop for the VIP area with the aid of our 5-layer sound curtain OFFICE in wave design, which serves as an entrance and waiting area; outer layer made of the sound absorbing object fabric SATIN CS; printed according to the customer's specifications with an artistic interpretation of the Olympic victory celebration; suspended on TRUMPF 95 OFFICE rail system; curtain dimensions: approx. 14.0 x 3.8 m (46 x 12 ft).
• Fabrication of two partition curtains made using sound-absorbing SATIN CS fabric; front side printed with the "Maracana" stadium folding chairs and rear side printed with the Olympic fire as requested by the customer; suspended using TRUMPF 95 rail system; curtain dimensions: approx. 6.0 x 3.1 m (20 x 10 ft).
• Production of a wall and door paneling; printed with the panorama of the "Maracana" stadium as requested by the customer; dimensions of the wall and door paneling: approx. 13.6 x 3.5 m (45 x 11 ft).

"Colour spaces" – curtain for the glass facade of the University's event centre:

• Elaborate and artistic production of the design curtain consisting of numerous colours in the Gerriets sewing workshop.
• In the interior the different colours create a unique and exciting play of light.

• 28 curtains made from DUVETYNE R55; with a total width of 100.0 m; in the colour black; fixed mounting on 50 mm aluminium tubes.

• Supply of a 7.8 m high by 9.6 m wide main curtain in red CLIVIA 600. An ornate Soffit 8.6 m x 3.72 m made of red CLIVIA 600 with yellow gold GRANAT applique detailing was also fitted.

• An original stitch template from 1911 was used as a reference for the ornate curtain decoration. This involved hand painting enhanced with gold leaf as well the addition of cords, fringes and tassels to complete the design.
