Use as a room divider

Use the curtain tracks from Gerriets, for example, to flexibly create new rooms. Transform a spacious room into two separate rooms by closing a curtain. The curtain track can be used conveniently and easily as a room divider. This type of application is also particularly suitable for screening out noise. For example, acoustic curtains on tracks can be used to screen out unwanted noise. Retrofitting is also very easy.

Walk Along Track

As a rule, rails are fitted as so-called slinger rails. All curtain tracks without a cable drive are referred to as slinger tracks. The curtain can slide along the inner track of the rail and can therefore be easily opened or closed by hand. Curtain track systems are inexpensive and discreet. To open or close, the parts to be moved are pulled by hand. This is the simplest way of opening curtains or moving backdrops on a curtain track, for example. Manual Cord Drives

Manual cable winches are the ideal aid for pulling heavy curtains. However, a little strength is required as the cable winches are operated by hand, unlike electric cable hoists. There are no electronics or a motor here. The manual side drives rely solely on the user's muscle power and are therefore housed in a compact casing. Suitable accessories and components are available for the JOKER 95 rail system, for example.

Continuous Chain System

One of our chain hoist systems is the CUE-TRACK 2, a curtain system with an internally guided endless chain. The system is characterised by its powerful and even pull, its fine speed gradations and its high positioning accuracy. CUE-TRACK 2 is mainly used for lamination and blackout systems, convertible panoramas, hall partitioning systems and very small radii, but also for medium-weight films and curtains.

Choosing the right curtain track system

The decisive factors for choosing the right track systems and track systems are the span between the fixing points, the overall length of the track and the number and radii of the curves. However, the volume, the speed of the pull, whether the curtains are moved manually or by motor and how robust and visually appealing the solution should be also play a decisive role in the selection of suitable curtain technology.
