Sports and event rooms with flexible room acoustics
The Ilirija Sports Center in Ljubljana is a modern, sustainably designed sports complex that combines historical architecture with contemporary use. In addition to several multifunctional halls and supplementary sports areas, a central location for training, events and educational activities has been created.
For acoustic optimization and flexible room design, textile elements were integrated, which serve both to improve the sound environment and to adapt the room situation. The combination of sound-absorbing materials and load-bearing rail systems supports the variety of uses in the various hall areas.
Gerriets supplied and assembled curtains made of ABSORBER CS and ALICANTE. In addition, TRUMPF 95 and G-TRACK track systems were used to ensure reliable, smooth and flexible guidance of the textile elements.
