  • Provision of light gray Front curtain (24.00 m x 10.00 m) made from TAFFETA CS. Front curtain was falling by using the G2 KABUKI system.

  • Multi purpose use of the venue with the aid of the acoustic roller banner G-SORBER.
  • Manufacture and installation of six G-SORBER systems in order to control the reverberation times in St Georgen Church.
  • Dimensions of the systems: 4 roller banners each with a size of 4.5 x 8.5 m (14'8" x 27'9"); 2 roller banners each with a size of 8.8 x 8.5 m ( 28'9" x 27'9").
  • Double layers made from inherently flame retardant acoustic textile ABSORBER CS.
  • Effective solution without spoiling the aesthetic appearance of St Georgen Church.

  • Small Hall: Manufacture and installation of 52 G-SORBER systems; banners are lowered from the ceiling and can be driven completely into the ceiling when not in use; up to 1,70 m (5'6") wide and 6,50 m (21'3") high; layers made from acoustic fabric ABSORBER CS.
  • Great Hall: Gerriets presents a brand-new acoustic technology; manufacture and installation of  81 banners; the acoustic roller banners are not lowered from the ceiling, but rise up from the parquet floor and can be completely lowered into the floor, creating a flush surface; 3,00 m (9'8") wide and 2,6 m (8'5") high; layers made from an highly absorbent and extremely hard-wearing textile.

  • Modification of the venue acoustics for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen.
  • Tailoring of the acoustics to suit amplified electronic music.
  • Specific absorption of the bass range of frequencies.
  • Reduction of the reverberation time from 13 sec. to less then 4 sec. in the bass range below 250Hz.
  • About 8000 m² Gerriets aQflex™ absorbers used.

A maximum of acoustic flexibility, powerful and pleasant sound mixing as well as optimised reverberation times by the means of specific acoustic measures:

  • Main Hall:

    25 acoustic roller banners G-SORBER; dimensions of the systems: up to 4.5 x 4.5 m; double-layer drapes made from the acoustic fabric ABSORBER CS; in the special colour cobalt blue.

    Roller screen system RUNWAY PLUS for the main stage; dimension of the system: 10.0 x 7.5 m; drapes made from projection fabric ARCTIC PLUS; steel housing painted dark blue upon customer request.
  • Small Auditorium:

    Two curtains made from acoustic fabric ABSORBER CS; dimensions of the curtains: each 20.5 x 4.1 m; in the special colour cobalt blue; installed on TRUMPF 95 track system with FRICTION DRIVE.
  • Recording Studio:

    Six curtains made from acoustic fabric ABSORBER CS; dimensions of the curtains: up to 5.4 x 2.5 m; in the special colour magenta; installed on TRUMPF 95 track system.
