Curtain Attachment Hardware

Webbing, Grommets and Tie Line

Webbing is sewn onto the back of the curtain with grommets/eyelets fastened through the curtain fabric and webbing. Tie line is provided for attaching to a pipe or batten. Standard European spacing is 8 inches (20 cm); U.S. is 12 inches (30 cm)

Webbing, Grommets and Snap Hooks/Carabiners

Webbing is sewn onto the back of the curtain with grommets/eyelets fastened through the curtain fabric and webbing. Snap hooks or carabiners are provided for attaching to carriers on curtain track. Advantage: Fast installation. Disadvantage: Curtain height cannot be adjusted.

Drapery Tape and Curtain Hooks

For curtains on track systems, hooks are attached directly to the back of the drapery tape (ACE hooks for ACE and TRUMPF 95 systems; ELEGANCE hooks for ELEGANCE systems).

Webbing and Sewn In Tie Line

Tie line's sewn in between the webbing and the curtain. This method produces a clean front face of the drape.

Webbing and Sewn, Hidden Tie Line

Tie line's sewn onto the back side of the webbing. This method discreetly conceals the pipe/batten and is ideal for drapery that will be visible from top to bottom.

Webbing and Sewn, Hidden Snap Hooks/Carabiners

Snaps hooks or carabiners are sewn on the back side of the webbing so as to be invisible from the front. This style allows for quick connection to curtain track runners or other attachment devices.

G-QUICK / PIPECAT

The G-QUICK and the PIPECAT are innovative, time-saving device that replaces traditional tie lines as a means of hanging draperies to pipe battens. For the G-quick, a plastic clip securely snaps through the grommet/eyelet hole while an elastic strap with a small plastic ball ensures a flexible connection around the batten, the PIPECAT attaches to the curtain in the same way but is just pushed onto the batten from below.
