We have invested in technology and personnel to comprehensively develop products and solutions to meet the growing demands of twenty-first century room acoustics. Acoustical requirements for theatres, opera houses, multipurpose venues, museums, office environments, large lobby spaces or restaurants have changed dramatically over recent years. A few years ago it was acceptable to only reduce the overall reverberation time, or “echo”, to satisfy performance requirements, but today the room acoustics of a venue need to meet a more specific scope of requirements unique to the space. Using acoustic fabrics via the use of curtains and roll style banners can be a cost effective way to significantly improve overall room acoustics. Acoustical fabrics not only contribute to varying the acoustics of a space by absorbing sound in different frequency bands, but they can also acoustically insulate a room temporarily, which can be of great benefit to architects and designers when planning and designing a space.
