CARGO Bottom Cord Operation

Bottom cord operation is used on straight, single track systems. Thanks to their smooth running, the runners can even move massive loads considerably greater than 1,000 kg when used with a manual cord pull.

Depending on the requirements, the pull cord can be directed up or down from the track with the appropriate head pulley. The cord is directed through guide pulleys and a return pulley at track level. The track fasteners chosen must be able to accommodate for the direction and magnitude of the cord’s forces.
