KAGAMI
New York City, USA

by Ryuichi Sakamoto & Tin Drum at The Shed's Griffin Theater

KAGAMI is a mixed reality presentation of Sakamoto's compositions immersing viewers in a multisense experience. Viewers begin the experience by walking through the "Path of Silence" created from a multitude of hanging curtain doorways made from Gerriets Sheer Muslin CS fabric. The "Path" leads the audience to a larger area where they are surrounded by 5 large images of Sakamoto, and a 26' (8 m) wide projection fabric with ever-changing photos, to await being introduced to the concert experience.
