CLEAR THE STAGE, CURTAIN UP - BUT ONLY WITH CURTAIN RAILS FROM GERRIETS!

It is rarely open at the beginning. As a rule, it only reveals the view of the stage when the audience is seated and the show begins. Sometimes it is also part of the production and or it is only used to screen off prying eyes. The theatre curtain fulfils so many different functions. However, the role it has been assigned for centuries, namely to open and close the action of a theatre play, is still the most important, but no longer the only function it has.

Curtains come in all shapes and sizes and are used every day in a wide variety of rooms. Due to their diverse functions, they are also increasingly found in community centres, schools, seminar rooms and similar venues. In all cases, the smooth opening and closing of the curtain plays an important role. If something doesn't work exactly as it should, the stage fright of the protagonists is the least of the problems.

The track systems and track systems from Gerriets create safety through reliability. They ensure that curtains open and close smoothly. Thanks to high-quality manual and motorised curtain tracks, even the heaviest stage curtains glide almost weightlessly into place. So nothing stands in the way of a perfect performance. The Gerriets range extends from track systems and track systems for professional event use to curtain technology for use in offices and the architectural sector.

Track systems for the stylish attachment of your stage curtains

With our theatre curtains and curtain tracks, every stage, every auditorium and every room can be individually redefined. Whether as sound absorbers, for darkening, as room dividers and especially for creating a theatre or mobile stage cabinet, curtain tracks and fabrics from Gerriets are ideally suited. For large spans, our extensive range of accessories offers all the options for moving curtains manually or motorised. But we also have products in our range for short distances, such as window blackouts, door covers or small stage systems. Of course, arches or wave-shaped tracks for trade fairs, booths and other unusual room concepts can also be realised as mobile constructions. The Gerriets product programme includes track systems and track systems for any application.

Use track systems flexibly: Unobtrusive or as a design element

Track systems and track systems can be used to attach stage curtains to the ceiling. There are many different options when choosing the right track system. Should the tracks of the curtains be mounted inconspicuously or should the curtain tracks set special accents? Does the stage curtain track system need to support light or heavy curtains? We have a wide range of track systems from which you can select the tracks and curtain systems to suit your requirements.

Have you already thought about the use of your track system? Our curtain technology is versatile. New curtain tracks in the theatre? A track system in the office? Or a motorised curtain as a room divider? Our curtain tracks can be used in all areas and installed in a wide variety of rooms. You can also install the track systems simply or create a highlight in the room. The tracks also offer you many other options for designing your rooms.

Use as a room divider

Use the curtain tracks from Gerriets, for example, to flexibly create new rooms. Transform a spacious room into two separate rooms by closing a curtain. The curtain track can be used conveniently and easily as a room divider. This type of application is also particularly suitable for screening out noise. For example, acoustic curtains on tracks can be used to screen out unwanted noise. Retrofitting is also very easy.

Walk Along Track

As a rule, rails are fitted as so-called slinger rails. All curtain tracks without a cable drive are referred to as slinger tracks. The curtain can slide along the inner track of the rail and can therefore be easily opened or closed by hand. Curtain track systems are inexpensive and discreet. To open or close, the parts to be moved are pulled by hand. This is the simplest way of opening curtains or moving backdrops on a curtain track, for example. We offer models from TRUMPF and TRUMPF 95, for example.

Manual Cord Drives

Manual cable winches are the ideal aid for pulling heavy curtains. However, a little strength is required as the cable winches are operated by hand, unlike electric cable hoists. There are no electronics or a motor here. The manual side drives rely solely on the user's muscle power and are therefore housed in a compact casing. Suitable accessories and components are available for the JOKER 95 rail system, for example.

Continuous Chain System

One of our chain hoist systems is the CUE-TRACK 2, a curtain system with an internally guided endless chain. The system is characterised by its powerful and even pull, its fine speed gradations and its high positioning accuracy. CUE-TRACK 2 is mainly used for lamination and blackout systems, convertible panoramas, hall partitioning systems and very small radii, but also for medium-weight films and curtains.

Choosing the right curtain track system

The decisive factors for choosing the right track systems and track systems are the span between the fixing points, the overall length of the track and the number and radii of the curves. However, the volume, the speed of the pull, whether the curtains are moved manually or by motor and how robust and visually appealing the solution should be also play a decisive role in the selection of suitable curtain technology.

Another important criterion is the weight of the curtains. To give you an overview of our curtain track systems and their load limits, we have categorised our models according to their respective load capacity. Our consultants will of course support you in making the best choice for your project.
