TRUMPF 95 RAIL SYSTEM
The compact, lightweight and multifunctional rail system

The TRUMPF 95 track system is a compact curtain track system for stage, theatre and events that is ideal for medium to heavy fabrics. Thanks to its robust design and high-quality components, it has been proving its worth in theatres, concert halls and event venues around the world for decades.
From the school auditorium in Freiburg to the Baden-Baden theatre and "La Maison Symphonique" in Montreal - the TRUMPF 95 has been an internationally proven track system in professional stage technology since the 1990s. The TRUMPF 95 is also used on numerous Meyer Werft ships - a sign of its reliability and quality.
Reliability that lasts for decades
Selected components, such as high-quality precision bearings, ensure quiet, smooth and durable movement of your curtains - even with intensive use. Heavy curtains can be moved effortlessly with two fingers.
The sturdy construction ensures a high load-bearing capacity, while the low dead weight makes installation and maintenance much easier. Thanks to the modular design, the system can also be easily adapted and extended.
Flexible mounting options
The TRUMPF 95 offers various mounting options for every stage situation:

- Tube mounting: G-CLAMP for 48-60 mm tube such as trusses or theatre load bars with direct rail mounting.
- Track suspension with overhead cable guide for direct mounting on the ceiling or substructure.

- Tube mounting G-CLAMP 48-60 mm tube such as trusses or theatre load bars with rail suspension for overhead cable guide.
- Track suspension with double overhead cable guide for direct mounting on the ceiling or substructure.

- Quick ceiling installation for centrifugal tracks with G-TWIST II for concrete, wood or plasterboard.
- Track suspension with lateral cable guide for direct mounting on the ceiling or substructure.

- Wall mounting on wall arms on the inside of the stage gantry with overhead cable guide.
- Wall mounting on wall arms on the inside of the stage gantry directly as a slinger rail.
Possible applications for the TRUMPF 95 track
Whether operated manually, by wire rope or motorised, the TRUMPF 95 was developed for professional stage and event use and offers maximum precision with maximum flexibility.
Its modular design enables a wide variety of movement and control types, from simple manual operation to automated control.
Slinger track - manual operation
The simplest form of operation: the curtain is moved directly by hand by pulling or pushing it. This variant is particularly suitable for smaller systems or areas where quick manual control is required.

Manual rope pull - lateral rope guide
Straight tracks with two curtain sections up to a total width of 12 m can be operated with a laterally guided 8 mm endless rope:
- by pulling on the rope,
- with a hand crank (HAND-DRIVE),
- or via a hemp rope hoist.
Ideal for stages, auditoriums or event spaces with medium curtain lengths.

Manual or motorised cable pull - overhead cable guide
This variant offers great flexibility in configuration. It can be operated manually (with counter-tensioning pulley, hand crank or hemp rope hoist) or motorised. It is particularly suitable for:
- Track lengths over 12 m,
- curved track runs,
- or heavy curtains that require motorised support.

Double overhead cable guide
With a double rope guide, two curtain sections can be moved independently of each other or at different speeds. This solution can be realised both manually and by motor - perfect for complex stage sets or multi-part curtain systems.

Motorised drive - TRACK-DRIVE systems
Various TRACK-DRIVE motors are available for automated applications:
TD12
- Speed: 30-120 cm/s
- Tractive force: 200-450 N
- For light to medium curtain weights
TD30
- Speed: 25-100 cm/s
- Tractive force: 770-1600 N
- For particularly heavy curtains or long distances
Both variants can be combined with lateral or overhead rope guidance and offer precise, smooth movements.
For smaller applications, the TRACK-DRIVE TD20 is available as a cost-effective alternative with a fixed speed.

Self-propelled motor - FRICTION-DRIVE

With the innovative FRICTION-DRIVE system, there is no need for a cable guide at all. The motor operates via a friction drive, is invisibly integrated into the curtain and is supplied with power via a trailing cable or conductor rail.
In combination with the G-Twist II system, a clean, aesthetic solution is created, also for interior architecture and design applications.

Control & integration
The professional G-FRAME control system is available for motorised TRUMPF 95 systems:

- Fixed or variable speed.
- Installation in a 19" rack or on the wall.
- External control options via DMX, potential-free contacts or additional control points.

Technical data
As a professional curtain rail system for stage, theatre and architecture, the TRUMPF 95 meets the requirements for safety, load-bearing capacity and conformity to standards.

| | | |----------------------|-----------------------------| | Colours | black or natural anodised | | Weight | 900 g/lfm (9.6 oz/ft) | | Profile lengths | max. 6 m (19'8") | | Min. bending radius | 0.5 m (19.6") | | 2-wheel trolley | 10 kg (22 lbs) | | 4-wheel trolley | 20 kg (44 lbs) | | Trolley | 35 kg (77 lbs) |
Safety standards and calculation bases
The load specifications are based on the current technical guidelines and standards: DGUV Information 215-313 (formerly BGI 810-3) and DIN 56950-1
Components that are mounted on the rail as part of a suspension are designed for double the nominal load in accordance with DIN. A dynamic coefficient of 1.2 has been taken into account.
Note: If higher dynamic forces are to be expected in your application (e.g. due to rapid movements, motorised operation or alternating loads), the permissible load capacities must be reduced accordingly.
Load capacity & calculation
The load capacity of the TRUMPF 95 rails and carriages is calculated in a similar way to load bars.
The load capacities specified in the load diagrams already take into account the respective suspension type. Wall arms are regarded as fixed attachment points in the structure and designed accordingly.
All values given in the load tables and diagrams are based on a safety factor of 3.
