Usage
THE WALL 2in1 Special Installation Adhesive and Grout is a solvent- and silicone-free compound for bonding and grouting interlocking panels. First, use the white base compound for bonding and grouting. Once completely dry, you can paint over the visible joint with the supplied joint colour, which matches the stone element. This allows you to match the joint colour precisely to the stone elements.
Instructions
1. Bonding
Before starting installation, ensure that the substrate is clean, dry and stable. Apply three strips of the 2in1 special emulsion adhesive to the back of the panel. Position the interlocking joints at a slight angle and press the panel firmly into place across its entire surface. Do not join the panels by sliding them together. If necessary, secure the panels to prevent them from slipping. If necessary, you can fix the panels to the substrate using screws through the joints.
2. Grouting
After installation, apply THE WALL 2-in-1 special mounting adhesive and grout along the interlocking edges and smooth the compound with a damp brush or your finger. Be sure to wear protective gloves when doing so. Also grout the top, bottom and side edges.
3. Colouring
Do not mix the supplied grout colourant with the white grout. Allow the white grout to dry thoroughly first. You can then apply the supplied, matching grout colour to the visible joints. For the best colour result, first spread the grout neatly and evenly. Only apply the grout colour once the grout has dried completely.
Safety
Contains a mixture of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one, as well as 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one. May cause allergic reactions. Warning: Keep the product out of the reach of children. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and avoid inhaling spray mist. Wear protective gloves made of nitrile rubber. Store the product only in its original container. Protect the product from heat and frost. Do not allow the product to enter the drainage system. In case of skin contact: Wash the affected area thoroughly with soap and water immediately. Remove contaminated clothing and wash it before wearing it again. In case of eye contact: Rinse the eyes immediately, carefully and thoroughly with water or an eye wash. Seek medical advice in the event of irritation or persistent discomfort. If swallowed: Rinse out the mouth and drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention immediately. Dispose of product residues and packaging in accordance with local regulations. Take liquid residues to a collection point for hazardous waste. Dried-up residues can be disposed of with household waste.
