With the reconstruction of the Bodan dockyard the municipality of Kressbronn has realised its own lake stage, a stage for the region, at Lake Constance, Germany. In the future, the enjoyment of art, culture and culinary delights will be the main focus of this cultural monument. The "Werft1919" is a place to meet, to exchange ideas and to experience the interplay of nature and architecture. The unusual stage situation required special attention with regard to the acoustic design: the single-layer sound-absorbing and multi-layer sound-insulating scurtains made of SATIN CS enable flexible room acoustics and at the same time limit the spread of sound across the expanse of the lake. Furthermore, acoustic curtains made of ABSORBER CS by Gerriets serve as a vestibule in the restaurant.

The concept of the Vitra Club Office takes up new possibilities of collaboration in times of pandemic and beyond. Realised as a prototype at the headquarters, the "office of the future" focuses on collaboration, community, belonging, identity and inspiration. The Club Office enables meetings in different spaces, for which flexible zoning is essential: In the public area, spontaneous meetings are possible also with external people, workshops and teamwork take place in the semi-public area, and the private area is intended as a protected zone for individual work.

For the reinvention of the office and the design of future-proof workplaces, multifunctional spaces are needed, which can be realised individually as well as temporarily in no time at all thanks to the OFFICE sound curtain by Gerriets. For the first Vitra Club Office at the headquarters in Birsfelden, Gerriets was entrusted with the entire curtain furnishing.

The special characteristic in the work of star architect © Tadao Ando Architect & Associates (TAAA) lies in the masterly combination of functionality with a sublime, architectural design vocabulary. As part of the redevelopment of the Bourse de Commerce in Paris - from a commercial centre into an art centre, the Pinault Collection - the materials used were chosen with care. For the auditorium, the choice fell on acoustic curtains made of the object fabric GERRA CS, the sound-reflecting fabric LUNAR DUO as well as the sound-absorbing ABSORBER CS by Gerriets for an acoustically balanced room climate. The opening of the Pinault Collection is planned for 2021.

The straight and curved acoustic curtains shown in the library of the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration are reminiscent of the world-famous "Café Samt & Seide", which was designed by Lilly Reich and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1927. Sound curtains are used to create flexible and acoustically separated quiet areas:

• Each system included a 180° and a 90° curved section. The installation supported directly from a Mero-ceiling truss.
• Each system was equipped with four 3-layer acoustic curtains.
• Designed to provide both visual and acoustic separation for a series of separate room units in the Faculty of Architecture at Bochum University.
• Each of the eight curtains measured 8.60 m x 3.80 m.
