Dynamic curtain for light and color design on stage!
The world premiere of "Bar Omega - Songs from a crack in reality" by Marie Hanna Klemm and Hannah Weiss takes you into the sci-fi jazz bar of the same name, between worlds, beyond the boundaries of space, time and reality.
In this extraordinary club atmosphere, music and dance merge with elements of cyberpunk, flickering neon lights and smoky visions of the future. Voice, movement and sound merge into a poetic journey through parallel worlds, identities and inner uprisings.
For this production, the LASER SCRIM CS was supplied as the central stage material and used as a curtain by scenographer Johanna Deffner. The finely structured surface of the laser fabric captures light in subtle color nuances and reflects the movements of the performers as well as atmospheric lighting designs. The material thus becomes an active design element of the stage. It creates spatial depth and changing color moods and contributes significantly to the visual dramaturgy of the production.
