The story of the bees was brought to the stage in collaboration with Det Norske Teatret, Oslo / Norway, and the National Theater in Zagreb. The Norwegian theater owns the copyright to the dramatization of the novel. The OPTIBLACK 2.2 projection foil was also used in Børsum as a light source and eye-catching surface on the stage. The changing lighting helps to keep track of time and sets the tone for the events unfolding before the audience's eyes.
