Podwójna napowietrzna prowadnica kablowa jest rozwinięciem napowietrznej prowadnicy kablowej. Dwie niezależne prowadnice kablowe umożliwiają przesuwanie dwóch wózków niezależnie od siebie na jednej szynie. Umożliwia to realizację sekcji kurtynowych o różnych prędkościach i/lub odległościach przesuwu na jednym systemie szynowym.
