VARIO-PROTECT-PRO glossy 5,0 l incl. VARIO-LINK 500 ml

Special water-based 2K polyurethane sealant. Provides long-lasting surface protection for floors, ideal for use on new installations or during flooring renovations. Additives extend application versatility:

• VARIO-HOLD: Increases slip resistance.

• VARIO-NOSLIP: High slip resistance with textured finish.

Application

The combination with VARIO-LINK is required to define the gloss level:

• VARIO-LINK M results in increased matting and a harder surface.

• VARIO-LINK G results in a glossy surface.

Shake well. Mix ratio 10:1. Carefully mix crosslinker into the base lacquer, let sit for 10 minutes, then mix again. Apply within 2 hours using a roller at 15°C minimum. Surface preparation guidelines available on our website.

Coverage

• 50 ml/m² per layer for porous surfaces (e.g., open-pore linoleum)

• 100 ml/m² for non-porous, smooth surfaces

• 2 layers, 100 ml/m² each, for absorbent substrates after priming

Drying time

Cautiously walkable after 1-3 hours, light usage after 12 hours, fully cured after 3 days.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Recommended Product: PU Cleaner

Routine cleaning in high-resistance settings may require reapplication for wear and tear maintenance.

Storage

Store protected from frost, dry, cool, and out of direct sunlight. Shelf life in unopened container: 12 months.
