Project Manager

We’re looking for a full-time Project Manager to work alongside sales staff to help develop project solutions. Gerriets is a leading manufacturer of projection screens, acoustic solutions, dance and event flooring, theatrical soft goods and specialized stage equipment used on projects worldwide. If you are a motivated individual who possesses excellent organizational skills, outgoing, and has a genuine desire to learn, then this is the position for you.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

  • Creating drawings for projects
  • Managing projects
  • Assisting with on-site installations
  • Preparing quotes
  • Procurement from various vendors
  • Working with architects & contractors to develop solutions for their clients.

Required Skills:

  • 1-3 years experience in assisting with projects
  • AutoCAD (3D, Inventor or Revit a plus)
  • MS Office
  • Basic rigging, carpentry, and sewing
  • Ability to multitask under pressure and within time constraints
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients and vendors via phone and email
  • Ability to stay organized with a busy schedule
  • Prior mechanical design a plus

Other Requirements:

  • BA/BFA in Technical Theater or relevant experience. 
  • Valid Drivers License and ability to drive up to a 26' box truck
  • Valid Passport or ability to acquire one
  • Willingness to travel for periods of time both within the US and internationally
